Open something you want to remember In another app, open the webpage, document, photo or contact you want to save. Open the iOS Share menu Tap that app’s Share button, then swipe to the end of the app row and tap More. Add Knotembo to Favourites Tap Edit, add Knotembo to Favourites, then tap Done. Share to Knotembo Return to the Share menu and choose Knotembo. Keep the Share screen open until saving finishes. Good to Know iOS controls which apps appear in Share and their order. Knotembo cannot add or pin itself, and the exact labels may vary by iOS version or source app.

Choose a route Tap Knotembo’s Capture control, then choose Camera, Photos or Text. You can also use Share from another app. Add the item Take or choose a photo, or type or paste the text you want to remember. Let saving finish Wait for Knotembo to confirm the Memory was saved before leaving the capture or Share screen. Find the Original Open Browse. Your newest Memory appears near the top, with its saved Original kept separately from Understanding. Good to Know A saved Original remains available even if Understanding is off, needs your choice or cannot complete.

Start in Browse Browse shows recently saved Memories and lets you open the complete Memory surface. Search or filter Use Find and the Browse filters to narrow the library by the details you remember. Review the category Open a Memory to see its category. Use the edit control to choose a different category when needed. Add your own context Use Context for a fact or explanation you want to keep alongside the saved source.Good to know:Changing organisation or adding Context does not alter the saved Original.

Choose each feature separately Open Settings to review Understanding and Ask permissions. Each is optional and has its own choice. Read Understanding Open a Memory to see the title, summary and organisation created from its prepared content. Ask from your Memories Open Ask and enter a specific question. Answers use relevant Memories and show their sources. Follow any privacy notice If more information needs your choice, open Review before sharing and decide separately for the exact Memory and operation. Good to know:Understanding and Ask are different operations. A choice for one does not automatically apply to the other.

Open Review The badge shows how many "Needs You" items and open actions are waiting. Open the Memory Read the reason Knotembo needs you, then choose the relevant review action. Make the decision shown Category checks, unreadable items and review-before-sharing choices remain separate. Complete or dismiss actions Mark an action complete when it is done, or dismiss it while keeping the Memory saved. Good to know:Review choices change Knotembo’s organisation or permitted operation; they do not rewrite the saved Original.

Open an action From Review or a Memory, choose Add to Calendar or Reminders for the action you want to schedule. Choose the destination Select Calendar for an event with duration, or Reminders for a task. Review the details Check the title, date and time. Calendar events default to 30 minutes and can be adjusted before saving. Approve iPhone access If iOS asks, allow the selected access so Knotembo can create this item. Good to know:Nothing is added until you review the details and choose the final Add action.

Review iPhone backup Follow the route shown there to review this iPhone’s backup settings. Knotembo cannot confirm that a backup completed. Create your own archive Under Data & Recovery, choose Export Knotembo Archive and review the confirmation before exporting. Use Support without submitting content Open Support for menu-driven suggestions. It collects no free text, attachments, diagnostics or Memory information. Good to know:Export and deletion are separate deliberate actions. Clearing Memories requires its own confirmations.
